The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The postdoctoral traineeship is a 12 months position designed for recent graduates of an APA approved clinical or counseling PhD or PsyD psychology program who are seeking licensure and are interested in receiving supervised experience in college mental health practice. Under the supervision of licensed clinicians, the postdoctoral trainee provides direct clinical services to patients served by Columbia Health Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS). Trainees are provided extensive supervision with senior clinicians working in a wide range of treatment modalities, participation in a continual case conference on the application of psychodynamic thinking to college mental health practice, a weekly seminar, access to in-service presentations and other professional development opportunities.
