What you'll do

We are looking for a Software Engineer for the Integrations team, to help us build and scale the next generation of the platform and customer facing features. As a senior member of the team, you will help drive the architecture and development of all the services to build a state of the art integration solution. You will work with your team to build a top-tier software organization that is responsible for delivering SaaS products that meet the needs of our wide range of customers and their workflows. You are results-driven, believe in winning together, and always looking for continuous improvement. Our team focuses on distributed decision making that rewards ownership, transparency, and collaboration.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Engineering.

Responsibility

  • Deliver products that delight customers while managing the health of the code base through continuous refactoring and management of technical debt
  • Work with your team to deliver software best practices, automated test strategies, and flatten the cost of change for our software products and services
  • Think about how to solve problems at scale and build fault-tolerant systems
  • Develop high-quality, ship-ready code that is covered by a full test suite
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and back-end developers to create seamless, high-performance user experiences
  • Contribute to a web-scale service that follows microservice principles and is deployed using containerized cloud technologies to allow customer administrators the ability to manage their contract assets
  • Work with Product Management and other developers to understand and translate marketing requirements into design requirements and provide estimates for development
  • Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive the design, implementation, testing, and release of products

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • 5+ years of development experience or equivalent
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics, or equivalent
  • Experience with data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
  • Experience working with user-facing features using Javascript, React, Typescript, C#, Node.js, Java, or other modern programming languages[1]
  • Experience with integrating APIs enabling seamless interaction between user interface and back-end services

Preferred

  • Experience with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, design principles, and trends
  • Proficiency with Salesforce technologies - Apex, LWC and secure coding practice
  • Experience building cloud-native services using REST APIs, microservice-based architectures, and containerized technologies (e.g. K8S, and Docker)
  • Experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging multi-regional web-services[2]
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience developing large-scale cloud services, including troubleshooting and performance tuning
  • Experience in high-scale distributed systems and fault-tolerant design
  • Experience with agile and test-driven development methodologies
  • Experiences with the entire software development lifecycle, including version control (git), CICD pipelines, testing, and regional cloud deployments
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, prioritize your work, and manage your own time

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $134,900.00 - $216,975.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
