Solution Network Assurance Director

Location: Remote, USA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $155,000.00 - $200,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience

Summary

This role will be responsible for product management activities relevant to the Solution Network products and programs, and will have direct accountability across multiple strategic initiatives for the successful completion of tasks related to delivering a new software product, following a software development lifecycle, from concept through initial release as a private preview into limited availability.

This individual will be interacting with field teams (sales, presales, services), customers, teammates, partners, and experts to derive the requirements for an assigned product solution. They will need to envoke extensive competency through collaboration, research, and their own knowledge and experience to ensure the requirements are on target for the customer's needs.

Their work product will align with the available distribution markets, including the OpenPlace and MarketPlace on OneStream's Solution Exchange. This individual may be required to deliver a Blueprint (a framework of value-add sample solution content) to drive new solutions through the innovation cycle with velocity. This individual may be required to leverage external, contracted developers (referred to as a Studio effort).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities



  • Accountable as product manager for the delivery of new solutions using internal and/or external developers.
  • Strong understanding of the capabilities of the OneStream platform and related technologies and how they may be applied to new solutions.
  • Contribute to the product vision creation and a potential product roadmap.
  • Define clear use cases for, and description of, platform feature enhancements needed for product success.
  • Direct engagement with customers and partners at any time in the product lifecycle for the purpose of enhancing the product to meet their needs.
  • Sustained, prescribed interaction with sales and presales for support on proof of concepts.
  • Support the readiness and enablement process aimed at a successful product release, including but not limited to:

    1. Demo development;
    2. Demo presentations;
    3. Conference presentations with or without live customers;
    4. Product positioning versus competitors;
    5. Marketing messaging on product value.


  • Community building participation/leadership such as solution labs, hosting events, conference presentations, customer workshops, blogs, etc.
  • Contribute to improvements in a lean, agile, rapid development software development lifecycle, product development standards, and business case validation.
  • Mentorship and domain education for anyone contributing to the product, from sales, marketing, alliances, development, partners, and customers.
  • Creation of technical content for training and readiness activities.


Required Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive CPM or relevant domain experience in some combination of the following roles: (1) product manager; (2) presales consultant; (3) professional services consultant; (4) technical partner manager; (5) product development leader; (6) a customer responsible as a major software project lead; or (7) technology advisor with implementation team.
  • At least 5 years of software company experience with some role contributing to the improvement of product.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in technology and / or software development or implementation.
  • Strong oral and written communication, presentation, organization, and time management skills, with experience as a conference presenter as a bonus.
  • Previous role for at least 3 years in managing, mentoring, or leading other technical company resources.
  • Outstanding Microsoft Office Skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Agile software development principles.

  • Prior experience with any of the following products / product areas are a plus:

    • HFM (Hyperion Financial Management).
    • FDM (Financial Data Quality Management) or UpStream.
    • Hyperion Planning.
    • Hyperion Essbase.
    • Anaplan.
    • SAP Outlooksoft BPC.
    • SAP BOFC (Cartesis).
    • IBM Cognos / TM1.
    • Other CPM solutions.
    • Business Intelligence software products.
    • Data Integration software products.
    • Business Process software products.
    • Database-centric software solutions.
    • Software Development Tools.
