This position reports to
TMC Transport and Trade Specialist
Your role and responsibilities
Oversee trailer assignments and tracking of retail orders. Perform dock audits and investigate causes for ESEDs. Document and identify split shipments and communicate pertinent information to the customer service team. Research overages, shortages, and damages from carriers Assist in scheduling loads. Identifying shipments suitable for alternate shipping methods Daily updates from Shipping to Coordinators on truck departures Reprint packing list and commercial invoices when needed. Become proficient in the duties and responsibilities of the inbound and outbound clerk. Monitor shipping schedule and communicate any delays to pickups to appropriate teams. Performs other duties as needed and assigned by Transportation Manager
Qualifications for the role
- High School diploma or equivalent work history plus 1-2 years in a Transportation environment
- Strong Organization Skills
- Excellent Computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Customer Service oriented with ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Excellent written and communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
