Post Doctoral Associate-Aging Institute - Dr. Stacey Rizzo Lab Med-Aging Institute - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - ( 24005514 ) Postdoctoral training opportunity in translational drug discovery for Alzheimer's disease. The Rizzo laboratory at The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine - Aging Institute seeks an exceptional, ambitious, and highly motivated postdoctoral associate to join our MODEL-AD and TREAT-AD consortiums. The lab utilizes multiple methods, including genetics, protein biochemistry, behavioral pharmacology, translational pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals interested in drug discovery and preclinical translational approaches for Alzheimer's disease research to make seminal contributions to the field. The incumbent will be expected to lead an independent project supporting preclinical translational studies combining EEG, behavior, and biomarkers in mouse models of late-onset Alzheimer's Disease to investigate in vivo target engagement and the potential efficacy of novel therapeutic interventions. Qualifications: A Ph.D. (awarded in the last 5 years) or MD (awarded in the last 10 years) in biological science (or related field) is required.
