Overview

Support the Air Combat Command Requirements Directorate (ACC/A5I) to implement and sustain new and existing applications, and processes in support of the requirements of the Remote Piloted Aircraft (RPA) and High-Altitude ISR modernization.



Responsibilities

* Provide technical and analytical support to ACC/A5I in the development and integration of requirements into existing and/or planned systems

* Assist in planning documents and activities to include, but not limited to O&M, various acquisition activities, requirements development and developmental planning

* Provide technical and analytical assistance including evaluating operational capabilities and addressing operational needs

* Provide development, analysis, and process assistance in all Program Objective Memorandum and Amended Program Objective Memorandum activities

* Assist in the development, validation, and coordination of varied requirements documents including AF Forms 1067, Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Capability Development Documents (CDD), Capability Production Documents (CPD), and Capstone Requirements Documents (CRD)

* Assist in investment strategy planning

* Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases

* Advise ACC/A5I on operational, logistics, and technical issues, transition strategy, project schedules, program plans, and other time-sensitive documents

* Provide DISA/DITCO information necessary to acquire satellite leases

* Make recommendations for satellite transmission plans between satellite vendor and RPA squadrons

* Provide key interface for Global Hawk Satellite Database (SDB) requirements with Air Force Space Command and Electronic Systems Center responsible for developing future satellite communications architectures (satellites and ground/air radio systems)

* Work directly with DISA and Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) to lease commercial Ku Band satellite services for GH overseas Operations.



Qualifications

Required:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or the combination of: Associate's degree from an accredited university AND fifteen (15) years of experience (may be the combination of active duty, government service and/or contractor time) in operations, staff or working specific program or subject area of the specific A5I mission area assigned for this particular task

* Minimum one (1) year of experience on USAF MAJCOM or higher level staff (combination of active duty, government service and/or contractor)

* Ten (10) years of experience (may be the combination of active duty, government service and/or contractor time) in operations, staff or working specific program or subject area of the specific A5I mission area assigned for this particular task

* Two (2) years of experience developing requirements for commercial KU-band satellite leases

* Experience in assisting the development of communications requirements to support the use of a site for RPA remote split operations (RSO)

* Experience in supporting communications related beddown activities for new Relay Sites; and stand down activities for an existing site

* Knowledge of Federal Budget and Resource Allocation process and procedures in support of the specific A5I mission area assigned for this particular task

* Knowledge of the process and procedures in which ACC programs and budgets are developed, staffed and approved by Air Force

* Current knowledge and understanding of assigned mission/system assigned

* Familiarity with CAM sustainment funding and processes

* Familiarity developing JCIDS and QRC documents and processes

* Top Secret clearance, SCI-eligible
