Facilities Intern

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Facilities Engineering team in Bristow, VA during a 5 month internship. You will assist the Facilities Department with technology based research into the teleport infrastructure design fo-cusing on electrical and mechanical systems to help support our zero - outage initiative.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prospective team member would perform the following tasks:

• Focus on assisting in the gathering of technical data from remote locations

• Assemble and properly report such gatherings

• Assist in determining the scope of findings and what steps should be taken to improve

• Assist in creating an improvement plan according to the data and required remedy

• Contribute to the team in other various tasks as they arrive

YOUR PROFILE:

• Current 3rd or 4th year university student focusing in area of engineering or electrical technology degree
• Ability to work well independently, as well as in a team

COMPETENCIES

• Good communication skills

• Microsoft office tools

• Competency in electrical engineering theories

• Organized and able to work alone on projects

• Not afraid to ask questions creating a great learning atmosphere
