Responsibilities

Job Description:

Iron EagleX is seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Program Manager (DPM) with a strong background in systems engineering and architecture. This role is pivotal in supporting IT modernization efforts and ensuring the successful execution of complex government programs. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, project management experience, and a proactive approach to outage mitigation, continuity of operations planning, and data ecosystem design.

Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):

    Serve as a key member of the Program Management Team, directly reporting to and supporting the SOCOM PM with proactive updates on all tasks.
  • Lead efforts in outage mitigation, continuity of operations planning, and systems-wide planning.
  • Drive the design and implementation of data ecosystems and standardization of documentation practices.
  • Oversee Agile ceremony management and promote best practices in Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the IEX PCA to analyze and provide customer-facing financial reporting, demonstrating financial status and health of the program.
  • Work closely with the IEX Contracts office on purchase requests, contract modifications, subcontracts, cost estimates, ROM development, and other contractual documents.
  • Assist with subcontract and material purchasing requests; participate in revenue forecasting using financial administrative tools and data.
  • Monitor employee time records for accuracy and compliance; engage with team members to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Proactively highlight risks and opportunities from a financial forecast perspective.
  • Manage administrative tracking tools, including personnel rosters, license trackers, financial forecasting spreadsheets, travel estimates, and other key resources.
  • Oversee onboarding of new hires, adhering to the onboarding SOP and coordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Assist with audit and compliance activities relating to the contract.
  • Provide data to support billing and collections communications for the contract.
  • Collaborate with the Government COR and customer leadership to develop tracking tools; schedule and manage weekly PMO meetings with customer leadership.
  • Handle administrative duties such as scheduling key engagements, reserving conference rooms, and managing calendars.
  • Assist in preparing the Monthly Status Report (MSR) by maintaining and updating templates, collecting input from Team Leads and Mission Managers, and reviewing content for consistency and completeness.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of quarterly planning conferences, including securing facilities, managing participant communications, setting agendas, and coordinating logistics.


Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing a technical capabilities government program.
  • Proven experiencein systems engineering, architecture, and IT modernization efforts.
  • Exceptional organizational and verbal/written communication skills with a growth mindset and customer-service orientation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Due to U.S. Government Contract requirements, only U.S. Citizens are eligible for this role.
  • Willingness to work hybrid with 3 days a week spent at the customer site
  • Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with OTA contracts.
  • Military background or experience working within the Special Operations community
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining financial dashboards.
  • Experience using Deltek Costpoint for purchase requisitions, timekeeping, and expense reports
  • Experience in proposal/task order response planning and submission.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

Security Clearance:

  • An active TS/SCI security clearance is REQUIRED. Candidates without this clearance will not be considered.
