Instructor - WVU School of Nursing: Keyser Campus
(LPN to BSN Program: Adult Health and Maternal/Infant and Women's Health Nursing)

West Virginia University School of Nursing: Potomac State Department on the Keyser Campus invites applications for a Non-Tenure, Clinical Education Track Instructor. This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE, 9-month, benefits-eligible position to teach in the LPN to BSN program. The selected applicant will begin the position starting fall 2025. This position will report to the Department Chairperson. Note: This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Teaching adult and maternal/infant/women's health didactics in online classroom settings.
  • Teaching adult and maternal/infant/women's health clinicals, skills labs, and simulations in face-to-face settings.
  • Serving on School of Nursing committees.
  • Attending School of Nursing faculty meetings and events.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in nursing (MSN).
  • Two (2) years of practice experience as a registered nurse in maternal/infant/women's health nursing.
  • Unencumbered West Virginia Multistate RN license by position start date.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Two (2) years of academic teaching experience in maternal/infant/women's health nursing.
