JOB SUMMARY:
As a psychologist within Family & Children's Services (FCS), a Certified Community Behavioral Health
Clinic (CCBHC), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services to individuals in
the community, with a focus on underserved populations. Your role will include providing diagnostic
evaluations which may range from clinical interview and record review to full psychological evaluation,
and providing therapy services utilizing evidence-based practices. You will work collaboratively with a
multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health issues, to promote
recovery and well-being.
POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis:
* Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental
health needs, strengths, and challenges.
* Use diagnostic criteria from the DSM-5 or other relevant classification systems to
formulate accurate diagnoses.
* Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to gather information and
develop individualized treatment plans.
Psychotherapy and Counseling:
* Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services to clients, including cognitivebehavioral
therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational
interviewing (MI), and other modalities.
* Offer individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address a variety of
mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use
disorders, and interpersonal difficulties.
* Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed to
promote positive outcomes.
Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention:
* Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis intervention services to clients
experiencing acute psychiatric crises or suicidal ideation.
* Develop safety plans and coordinate appropriate levels of care, including
hospitalization, if necessary, to ensure clients' safety and stabilization.
Collaborative Care Coordination:
* Work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including
psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and peer support specialists, to
provide coordinated and integrated care.
* Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and
multidisciplinary rounds to review client progress and make recommendations for
ongoing care.
Documentation and Compliance:
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, treatment
plans, progress notes, and other clinical records in accordance with regulatory
requirements and agency policies.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards of practice
governing mental health services, including HIPAA and Medicaid/Medicare
guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
* Doctoral degree (Ed.D, Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution
EXPERIENCE:
* Experience providing mental health services to diverse populations, including individuals with
complex needs and co-occurring disorders.
* At least two (2) years' experience preferred

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
* Must be Licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists
* Maintain CUEs as required for annual license renewal

OTHER INFORMATION
SAFETY SENSITIVE JOB CLASSIFICATION:
This job is classified as a "safety-sensitive" position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and
Patient Protection Act. Due to the "safety-sensitive" classification, an employee in this position would
be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances
included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you
from the testing process or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana per the Family &
Children's Services Drug Free Workplace Policy, including possible revocation of a job offer or dismissal
from employment.
