ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This role's key responsibilities are:

  • Support business unit operations through the creation and maintenance of portfolio schedules, focusing on schedule creation for proposed programs
  • Establish and maintain schedule templates and best practices for application across the enterprise including creating and maintaining standard schedule timelines and metric for standard forecasting
  • Prepare EVMS baseline schedules
  • Support EVMS compliant program planning, execution, performance measurement, and reporting
  • Update program time-phased schedule and required documents associated with internal and contract changes.
  • Interface with multiple IPT leads, PMs and Senior Leadership.
  • Analyze historical and predictive program performance.
  • Implement a schedule heath assessment tool and industry best practices for schedule management
  • Collect and update program performance data, prepare and analyzes historical and predictive measures, reviews results, and makes recommendations to program manager and program leads.
  • Assist in preparation of program review documents and customer required documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Years of Experience, Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-7 years of progressive experience in program or production scheduling
  • APICS CPIM, APICS CSCP or PMI-SP certifications desired

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Strong organizational, analysis, time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to multi-task high priorities while dealing with some ambiguity.
  • Experience with proposal activities (WBS Development, IMP/IMS development).
  • Ability to demonstrate professional written and oral communications, and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and customers.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • US Citizenship Required.

  • Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery for a majority of the shift.

  • This role will primarily work in an open-plan office with moderate noise levels in addition to a hybrid/remote work as available.
