Pay Range: $76,000-$109,000

As the power base brand manager, you'll be at the forefront of Tempur-Pedic's mission to deliver Deep, Undisturbed Sleep, driving the strategy and execution of our smart sleep solutions. This role is a general management role working closely with sales and marketing teams to drive top line growth and maximize profit. The brand manager will also own the product and technology roadmap delivering innovative product that truly helps consumers get the quality sleep they deserve. The brand manager will lead connected sleep strategy and serve as the marketing leader for Sleeptracker-AI application, championing user experience.

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

Insights and Strategy



  • Responsible for translating business objectives into actionable, coordinated annual plans to deliver long term category growth.
  • Leverages consumer insights and data to sell-in and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Builds and maintains category expertise with a thorough understanding of the target consumer, competitive insights, customer strategies, and sales environment.
  • Leverage insights and concept testing to refine product and concepts into winning definition for product projects, technology briefs, marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze portfolio to help identify opportunities such as adjacent product categories and channel expansion / diversification.


Business and Product Management



  • Manage category P&L, support S&OP and FP&A processes for power bases.
  • Understands drivers of any gaps to sales/profit performance and uses cross-functional relationships to recommend and implement a plan of action.
  • Lead development of business cases for new products, promotions and operational projects, including estimating sales and financials.
  • Responsible for understanding competitive landscape and making recommendations for how to win in the market via product, price, promotion and distribution.


Innovation and Product Development



  • Accountable for innovation pipeline (concepts, prototyping, advanced technology projects) for Manages health of the funnel relative to product roadmap and innovation priorities.
  • Leads the connected sleep strategy championing technology and user experience roadmap.
  • Manage Sleeptracker-AI application in partnership with technical team and outside partners.
  • Leads and drives ongoing optimization of user experience within application.
  • Product project champion defining positioning and winning features/benefits, leading advisory groups, owning financial business cases.
  • Partners with marketing and communications team to translate insights, features and benefits into compelling marketing and advertising.
  • Manage product lifecycle.


Channel and Customer Support



  • Partner to retail marketing and/or sales operations on brand or product-centric initiatives.
  • Independently represents the brand/products in customer/channel meetings with top retail customers.
  • Establishes knowledge of key channel/customer P&L, sales processes, strengths and opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):



  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 6+ years of relevant product development experience
  • Digital product management experience is a plus
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a matrix organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
