In this role, you will:

Program Execution & Coordination



  • Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning:

    • Organize and lead PI Planning events every 8-12 weeks.
    • Ensure the alignment of ART objectives with business goals.
    • Help teams define program-level dependencies and risks.


  • Manage ART Syncs and Cadence:

    • Host Scrum of Scrums meetings to track team progress and remove blockers.
    • Lead ART-level syncs to ensure cross-team coordination and alignment.
    • Track and Monitor Progress:
    • Use program boards and other tools to visualize team dependencies and bottlenecks.
    • Ensure features and enablers align with PI objectives and timelines.




Continuous Improvement



  • Drive Continuous Delivery and Improvement:

    • Facilitate retrospectives to identify areas of improvement across the ART.
    • Implement action items and improvements to increase velocity and quality.


  • Optimize Flow of Work:

    • Use metrics (e.g., flow efficiency, lead time) to optimize delivery cycles.
    • Address bottlenecks that impact ART performance.




Stakeholder Management and Communication



  • Collaborate Across Functions:

    • Work with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders to align roadmaps.
    • Support Product Owners in refining backlogs and prioritizing enablers.


  • Report Program Health and Status:

    • Provide clear, data-driven reports on ART progress and risks to senior management.
    • Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests effectively.




Leadership and Coaching



  • Coach and Mentor Scrum Masters and Teams:

    • Guide Scrum Masters on best practices to align teams with ART-level goals.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.


  • Remove Organizational Impediments:

    • Identify systemic blockers and escalate where necessary to ensure delivery.


  • Lead Communities of Practice:

    • Facilitate knowledge sharing across ARTs to promote consistent practices.





Who You Are:



  • Experience in Agile roles (e.g., Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Program Manager).
  • Experience managing or coaching Agile Release Trains.
  • Experience in reviving Agile Implementations
  • Experience in a software delivery role either BA, Dev, DBA,
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification or equivalent.
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps. Rally is a bonus.
  • Proficient in using collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Miro).
