Mechanics Bank is currently searching for a Associate Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. Here at Mechanics Bank, we value connection, partnership, long term relationships and working together in person. This role will be working remote.

The Associate Software Quality Assurance Analyst is a key role in the Bank Operations Development team. This role will participate in software design discussions to understand the needed functionality. The Analyst will be responsible for testing the functionality in the systems once it is developed. This role will work closely with the developers to demonstrate and resolve any issues found during the testing.

What you will be doing:

  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand the needed functionality of the software that will need to be tested.

  • Based on requirements and the collaboration sessions with developers, create test plans that will later be executed once the software is developed.

  • Collaborate with Business Systems Analyst on reported issues during UAT process.

  • Perform both functional testing on the software to make sure it meets business and security requirements as well as testing on the software to make sure it meets performance requirements.

  • Collaborate with developers to demonstrate and resolve any issues found while testing and assist the team in recreating issues that have4 been reported.

  • Perform post deployment validation of the software that was released.

  • Assist the team in determining a "fix" for any issues found

Who you are:

  • Associate's Degree in relevant field, and minimum of 1+ years of experience in Software QA is highly preferred

  • Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Working knowledge of SQL.

  • Azure DevOps.

  • Selenium knowledge is a plus.

Pay Range: $68,640-87,300

Final compensation package will be determined by the work experience, education, and/or skill level of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
