18 Position Summary
The Manager of Commercial Pricing and Analytics will lead a team responsible for pricing strategy, wholesale power forecasting, and market operations support. This role will involve overseeing pricing managers and analysts in analyzing market trends, transactions, and power purchase agreements (PPAs) to inform business strategy. The manager will also act as the subject matter expert (SME) on market protocols, serving as the QSE (Qualified Scheduling Entity) representative and liaising with ERCOT (market operator). The QSE Operations Support ensures that the Day Ahead and Real Time market operators have the data, analysis, reports and regulatory support to successfully manage CPS Energy's retail and wholesale load obligation and energy supply resources in the ERCOT energy market. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Skills Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Strong Analytical skills along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Package.
Familiar with the technical and economic aspects of electric power generation resources.
Familiar with ERCOT protocols, energy market rules and policies that impact electric utility business and planning.
Ability to effectively communicate.
Project Management skills.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Math, Finance, or other quantitative field from an accredited university. Required Certifications Working Environment
