Summary

Summary:
The HVAC Mechanic role is primarily responsible for the repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to maintain first-class operating condition.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Apprenticeship and/or Post-secondary education with courses in air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical wiring and controls, plumbing, blueprint reading, and/or boiler operation preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: State License as a Boiler Operator, 3rd or 4th Class and/or Stationary Steam Engineer within one year of start date required. Valid Driver's License required.
  3. Experience: Three years of experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) or related field required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
