Job Summary:

TraceGains, Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive who will be responsible for selling TraceGains products into enterprise accounts with annual revenues of $1B or greater. This individual contributor role will be responsible for developing the territory and closing new account sales.

You: Have an entrepreneurial spirit and love being known as a rainmaker for the organization. You are recognized as a thought leader in the markets you serve and frequently present alongside industry leaders and customers at events and trade shows. You work hand in hand with the marketing and sales development team to direct their attention to the opportunities that most impact your pipeline and sales results. You are a self-starter that expects to work independently and put in the time and energy to learn the product and markets in addition to closing new business. You have experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions with deal sizes of $250K+ in annual contract value (ACV). Your teammates view you as an expert that they can come to for advice and help with their own territories and opportunities.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Direct Sales
  • Generate new business through identifying, prospecting, managing, and closing new opportunities, targeting leads within our industry segments.
  • Deliver high caliber, persuasive presentations incorporating value-based strategies and impact.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and insight into prospective clients' business processes while linking our product offerings to the needs of executives across the supply chain.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts.
  • Develop and optimize a full sales pipeline
  • Consistently achieve targeted sales quota
  • Develop strong presence and awareness for our product offerings through participation in tradeshows and applicable technology organizations.
  • Participate in the development of new service ideas and sales strategies as needed.
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of customers, fellow team members and across departments throughout the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Minimum Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline is strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of sales and industry experience in related fields such as food manufacturing and/or B2B sales of technology solutions
  • Demonstrates 5 to 10 years quota achievement
  • Ability to quickly demonstrate in depth knowledge of TraceGains' product and services, applying that knowledge appropriately and effectively in strategic selling efforts
  • Proven success with prospecting and selling skills to land new accounts.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Highly self-motivated with competitive drive
  • Excellent negotiation skills and strong business acumen
  • Excellent phone communication and presentation skills
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency
  • Have completed a structured sales training program such as Miller-Heiman or Challenger Sales Process
  • Must have experience using a CRM; Salesforce.com preferred.
  • Must be willing to learn and adapt as necessary to accommodate changes in industry and company directions.
  • Experience selling solutions such as quality management, ERP, laboratory systems, procurement, and/or supply chain applications preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of food manufacturing or closely related process industries preferred
  • Ability to be a positive team player, willing to grow and change


  • 30% travel required to industry events, customer sites, and all company events
