UC San Diego is hiring a temporary Custodial Building Maintenance Worker to support campus operations. Duration: This role is anticipated to last 5-6 months. Compensation and Benefits: $21.27 per hour depending on experience. This role is eligible for a night shift differential of $1.00.Eligible for Mid-Level Benefits including medical plans, paid holidays, and vacation/sick leave. Work Schedules: Thursday - Monday 1:30P - 10:00P; Tuesday and Wednesdays Off Location:100% on-site on campus in La Jolla DESCRIPTIONThis is a hybrid role that will include both maintenance and custodial duties. Under supervision, the successful candidate will perform various semi-skilled and unskilled building maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of campus facilities and assist with campus events. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $44,412 - $56,376 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $21.27 - $27.00 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
