Contract Manager - GSA Facilities - Tucson, AZ (Contingent on Award)

Summary:

The Contract (Project) Manager for Operations and Maintenance oversees GSA facilities in the Tucson, Arizona area. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of building facilities and plays a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and efficient, providing a conducive environment for government agencies to operate effectively.


  • Primary Responsibilities:

    • Complete authority to represent Pegasus in all contract requirements for every building and facility under contract with authority to accept notices of deductions, inspection reports, and all other correspondence on behalf of the Contractor.
    • Operational and Personnel Management
    • Exceptional customer relations with CO, COR, customers and tenants, including through weekly progress meetings, to coordinate requirements, meet needs, and answer questions
    • Strategic and operational planning for effective project implementation, work performance and timeliness.
    • Development and delivery of reports in accordance with contract requirements
    • Management of subcontractor and vendor agreements, quality, and timely performance.
    • Purchasing of appropriate contract parts, material, and equipment (or rental and leasing).
    • Work performance reviews, analyses, and process revisions, unilaterally, and/or in coordination with the Contracting Officer (CO) or their Representative (COR).
    • Workforce security, safety, quality, and environmental compliance, including for subcontractors. Corrective actions and/or direct re-work when necessary.




  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • Ten (10) years of experience
    • An applicable trade certification (HVAC or Mechanical Systems.)




  • Desired Qualifications:

    • Project Management Professional Certification
    • Professional Contract Management certification
    • Facilities Management certification
    • or Construction Manager certification.




**Salary range is based on experience and is very competitive**
