Position Summary

Traffic Shipping coordinator performs administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping of finished goods

Essential Job Functions:

  • Communicates and coordinates with transportation companies.
  • Handles difficult questions and problems and maintains open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle.
  • Confirms the accuracy of invoices, and charges relative to the shipment of goods.
  • Logs order information into the computer and files and distributes paperwork as necessary.
  • Maintains records and generates reports for accounting and other areas.
  • Works concurrently in multiple systems
  • Proficiently schedules Canadian orders, as well as back up International orders if needed
  • Completes all International or Canadian paperwork (i.e., CI's, SLI) as well as any other paperwork requested by the customer.
  • Will back up the domestic team if there are staff shortages.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Gaming experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office experience a must
  • Previous traffic shipping coordinating experience preferred
  • Must be able to multitask

Education:

  • GED or higher

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Part Sales/Finished goods operations
  • Knowledge of company shipping procedures and jurisdictional regulations
  • Knowledge of compliance procedures and quality control checks
  • Ability to contribute to team effort and work under pressure
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to manage details effectively
  • Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements:

  • Typical office environment with occasional exposure to light manufacturing environment
