Summit Credit Union, voted number one employer by WSJ and top ten by Madison Magazine, has an exciting opportunity to join our mortgage team as a Mortgage Loan Officer- Janesville Market. As the MLO you are responsible for providing personal, customized financial services to potential members and members of the credit union. Support Summit Credit Union's mission and vision by serving as a trusted financial advisor through recommending solutions toward improving their financial situation. Originate investment quality loans while meeting the needs of the entire membership. Build trustworthy relationships with branch staff and lending processors. Plan and participate in real estate business development activities of the credit union. Ideal candidate will have the equivalent of an associates degree in finance or business related field. Minimum of five years mortgage lending experience in a retail financial environment, customer focused with sales experience. Experience with loan products, such as 1st mortgages, 2nd mortgages, WHEDA, construction loans and loan processing. Excellent listening and interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills required. Must be able to attain a NMLS.
