Mechanics Bank is currently searching for an HR Coordinator (Learning & Development) to join our team. Provides administrative and technical support to one or more functional areas of Human Resources. Responsible for managing process flow, technical support and coordination of activities related to the assigned functional area. Provides backup assistance to other functional areas within the department. Works on special projects as assigned. Contributes to the accomplishments of human resource initiatives, practices, objectives and development of an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance, and the recruitment and retention of a superior workforce. What you will be doing:
Provides administrative support. Manages functional mailboxes for multiple areas in HR to provide a timely resolution and response to all emails, escalating as needed. Coordinates workflow end-to-end and makes recommendations for improvements. Updates and maintains department forms, procedures and policies as assigned. HRIS system Performs data entry into HR Systems and maintains data integrity. Administers HR systems as assigned. Provides feedback to Supervisor to enhance and streamline system processes. Pulls reports from HR systems as requested, for analysis, data entry, and other reporting requests. Assists in special projects & assignments as requested by supervisor. May assist in preparation of cost center budget; monitoring and controlling expenditures.
Who you are:
High School Diploma/GED is required. 3 years of relevant HR experience is required. Proficient with: MS Office Suite and internet Possess excellent human relations, communications and business writing skills. Able to cope with pressure resulting from meeting required deadlines and reporting requirements. Demonstrate teamwork in facilitating workflow. High level of cooperation with others and responsive to the Bank's needs. High level of accuracy and great attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Exhibit high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling and having access to sensitive customer or employee information. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Able to comprehend and interpret Bank policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned Learning & Development Responsibilities: Assist with assignment of compliance training in Workday, as indicated by the Mandatory Learning Matrix Perform various duties related to administration and coordination of learning courses, including instructor-led and e-Learning as assigned Assist with Educational Perk programs as assigned Assist with administration and reporting of Performance Management as assigned Assist with Onboarding program as assigned HR Advisory Team Responsibilities: Assist with Pandemic case management Assist with the annual workers compensation reporting to be posted annually in all facilities
#LI-DNI Pay Range: $22-29 hourly Final compensation package will be determined by the work experience, education, and/or skill level of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
