PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Black Diamond/Trail's End Lodge Area Housekeeping Manager oversees the housekeeping operations at Black Diamond Lodge (BDL) and Trail's End Lodge (TEL). This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests, members, and employees, working closely with housekeeping supervisors, common area cleaners, and housepersons to maintain service excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and conduct timely evaluations for full-time and seasonal housekeeping staff, including supervisors, room attendants, common area cleaners, and housepersons.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Foster teamwork and cooperation by liaising with all departments and department managers across BDL and TEL.
  • Labor Efficiency: Ensure the effective use of Maestro to prepare daily task boards, optimize labor usage; maintain appropriate staffing levels to ensure quality coverage and workflow while managing departmental budgets.
  • Communication Maintenance: Oversee radio use to maintain effective communication within housekeeping and across departments.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Conduct monthly inventories of housekeeping supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Lost and Found Management: Maintain a log of lost and found items and ensure timely mailing to the appropriate addresses.
  • Key Control: Strictly manage all keys within the housekeeping department, replacing keys/cards as necessary.
  • Quality Control: Implement appropriate checklists and controls to ensure consistent standards.
  • Meetings and Communication: Lead or participate in daily stand-up meetings and weekly department manager meetings.
  • Financial Oversight: Review monthly financial statements with Assistant General Managers/General Manager and attend property financial meetings.
  • Homeowner Coordination: Coordinate condo inventories and par levels with the Homeowner Relations Manager and ensure accuracy in owner billing and budget tracking.
  • Compliance and Purchasing: Ensure adherence to Avendra or other purchasing guidelines for properties and departments under management.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support property goals.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Condo rental program management experience required.
  • Preferred experience in front desk, concierge, or other front-of-house roles.
  • Familiarity with Park City and its offerings is preferred.
  • Proficiency with property management systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of budgets, front office accounting, and HOA management required.
  • Ability to work weekend and evening shifts.
  • Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs. and carry luggage.
  • Valid Utah driver's license required.


DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Year-Round


PAY RATE:

  • Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
