We are seeking an experienced Industrial Instrumentation and Electrical Technician.

Our Granite City, IL facility is comprised of two air separation (ASU) plants supporting pipeline and merchant gas businesses. Liquid oxygen, nitrogen and argon products are manufactured and delivered to a customer base in and around the St. Louis metro area.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Strong mechanical skills.

  • Proficient communication and computer skills.

  • Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and flexibility in job assignments.

  • Ability and initiative to complete job assignments in a timely manner.

  • Follow safe work practices, NEC guidelines, and standard operating procedures.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Install and troubleshoot a variety of electrical equipment.

  • Calibrate manufacturing instrumentation according to procedures.

  • Perform routine PMs on manufacturing and building equipment.

  • Trouble shoot PLC equipment.

  • Assist other maintenance techs with assigned tasks.

  • Complete instrument tracking documentation.

  • Complete required safety tasks and activities.

  • Develop procedures for instrument calibrations and preventive maintenance tasks.

  • Support facility operations by completing assigned work orders.

  • This role will have some on-call responsibilities.

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

  • Accredited military or trade school diploma or certificate is required.

  • Five years of industrial experience working on instrumentation and electrical equipment, and equipment calibration according to defined standards.

  • Applicable military training will be considered in lieu equivalent of industrial experience.

  • A valid driver's license is required.

  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift, 0700 - 1530.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

  • Able to work in a team environment.
