Senior HR Workday Analyst ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT

The Senior HR Workday Analyst is accountable for the effective management and optimization of the Workday HR system, ensuring accurate data management and driving data-driven decisions. This role enhances user experience while maintaining compliance and data integrity, supporting strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Support: Maintain and configure the Workday HR system, ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop, generate, and analyze HR reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • User Support: Provide support to HR staff and end-users, addressing system-related inquiries and issues.
  • Training: Collaborate on the development and delivery of training materials for Workday users to ensure effective usage.
  • Data Management: Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the Workday system, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Project Management: Participate in HR projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and integrations with the Payroll, Finance and IT HRIS team.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain the security of employee information.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.

System Testing and Troubleshooting:

  • Conduct regular system testing to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with IT, IT HRIS and HR teams to address and resolve technical problems.
  • Develop and implement testing plan for system upgrades and new features.

Change Management:

  • Manage the implementation of Workday updates and new features.
  • Communicate changes and updates to stakeholders and end-users.
  • Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Provide training and support to users to adapt to new functionalities and processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT HRIS, and other departments to ensure successful implementation of changes, facilitating meetings to gather feedback and address concerns.

Job Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor's degree or 8 years of related experience required.

Experience

  • 4+ years of overall Workday HRIS experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HCM, preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources or HR technology

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Project Management:

Experience managing projects or initiatives within an HR context.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Understanding of HR processes and systems, particularly within Workday HCM modules (Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, etc.).
  • Familiarity with HR compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in project management and organizational development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for interpreting data to inform HR initiatives.

Certifications:

  • Workday Pro Certification or advanced training is a plus.
