Salary:

FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.



Your Responsibilities:

The EHS Site Lead works as part of the North America EHSS Team and will play a critical role in building a best-in-class EHSS culture and system at the Huntington Location as a key member of the site management team. Specific responsibilities include:



  • Identifying and communicating emerging health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Pull and manipulate data for various internal, external, and government agency reports.
  • Lead environmental permitting and auditing.
  • Lead regulatory agency inspections and communications.
  • Assists in designing and implementing EHS policies and procedures
  • Conduct training in EHS subjects.
  • Perform rollouts of new and revised EHS policies and programs.
  • Perform Work Instruction EHS reviews and revisions.
  • Perform Risk Assessments, reviews, and revisions.
  • Participate as a cross-facility auditor for EHS programs and systems.
  • Conduct Event Analyses (investigations) for high severity or high severity potential injuries, illnesses, property damages, spills, near misses, etc.
  • Perform assigned EHS software application tasks for given permission levels.
  • Provide EHS representation on Project kick-off meetings and improvement initiatives (when applicable) for assigned projects.


Travel requirements:



  • Ability to Travel Upwards of 10% of the time.



Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or related disciplines or related technical field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant environmental, health and safety work experience with emphasis around ISO Systems such as 14001 and 45001.
  • Experience with health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for the
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Experience with SAP a plus.
  • Experience with the Gensuite Benchmark Systems is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication & human relations skills and the ability to work with employees at all levels.
