Sentara Obici Hospital Endoscopy Unit is currently hiring a Flexi Endoscopy Technician!

Hours/Shift:

Day shift (anticipated schedule weekday(s), 7AM-3PM)

The Endoscopy Technician assists with the patient care in the Endoscopy Department. Is familiar with gastrointestinal and pulmonary diseases and assists during endoscopic procedures. Responsible for the preparation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment and supplies. Functions under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Grad or Equivalent
  • Patient care experience; may substitute similar training from military or vocational training program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire.

Preferred:

  • 2 years related experience
