Perform maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment to support the site. Ensure maintenance and repair activities are performed in the most cost-effective and timely manner maintain a good working environment for site employees. Some examples of responsibilities include HVAC systems, potable water systems, sewer systems, non-power block systems structures and components, electrical infrastructure, fire protection systems and equipment, maintenance and repair of site tools and equipment, eye wash stations, and site doors. Many of these positions have State Licenses/Certifications in their respective disciplines Responsibilities include:
HVAC: Includes HVAC Units inside and outside Protected Area (PA) Electrical: Responsible for any electrical requests/repairs in Site Services owned facilities Plumbing: All plumbing repairs or upgrades in kitchens, labs, restrooms, office areas Sewer Systems: To include Sewage Ejectors, Lift Stations Compressors: To include repair/replacement and PM's Eye Wash Units: Testing and PM's on Plant Eye Wash Stations Refrigeration Units: Maintenance & Repair to all refrigeration units Shop/Lab Equipment: PM & Repairs to Shop/Lab equipment on site Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, furniture, cabinets, shelves, tables, kitchen equipment, and minor roof repair. Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical components including but not limited to fire protection sprinkler systems, air lines, pumps, motors and valves. Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on electrical systems and components, including but not limited to inside lighting, security lighting, emergency lighting, panel board wiring, etc.
Basic Qualifications F&E Tech II
1-year experience in HVAC repair/installation Valid driver's license Experience using basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook/email, etc.) High school graduate or GED equivalent or equivalent Demonstrated interpersonal skills with customers, vendors, management and supporting personnel Experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical and electrical components in an industrial or commercial application Ability to have Nuclear plant Access and Radiation worker clearance Ability to work with minimal supervision in a safe and productive manor Proficient in the use of manufactures manuals, drawings, and procedures
F&E Tech III
3 years' experience in HVAC repair/installation Valid driver's license Experience using basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook/email, etc.) High school graduate or GED equivalent or equivalent Demonstrated interpersonal skills with customers, vendors, management and supporting personnel Experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical and electrical components in an industrial or commercial application Ability to have Nuclear plant Access and Radiation worker clearance Ability to work with minimal supervision in a safe and productive manor Proficient in the use of manufactures manuals, drawings, and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
CFC Certification Active NC contractor license for HVAC and mechanical Active NC contractor license for commercial electrical Forklift operation experience Experience operating heavy Equipment

Experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical and electrical components in an industrial or commercial application. Experience performing installation maintenance and troubleshooting and repairs of electrical systems and components including but not limited to inside lighting, general building wiring, emergency lighting and outside lighting. Experience performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on electrical equipment with voltages ranging from 115 volts to 600 volts Proficient in the use of manufactures manuals, drawings, and procedures Experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical components including but not limited to air compressors, air lines, piping, pumps, motors, and valves. Experience performing installation maintenance and troubleshooting and repairs of electrical systems and components including but not limited to inside lighting, general building wiring, emergency lighting and outside lighting. Forklift operation experience Previous Nuclear Plant experience Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills Currently hold a Class III driver's license (DOT) Experience operating heavy Equipment Hold or have held a commercial contractor's License in the required discipline. (electrical, HVAC, Plumbing) Qualified Crane Operator Experience performing oversight of vendor work force at a Nuclear Facility
