Position Summary

Oceaneering Mobile Robotics (OMR) provides automated guided vehicle solutions to Customers in the manufacturing, warehousing, and healthcare industries. System deployments typically consist of a fleet of mobile robots that transport material within a facility, as well as supervisory software system to control those robots and interface with Customer infrastructure.
The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising the deployment and installation activities necessary to complete a full-scale OMR project and deliver the final solution to Customers. The Site Supervisor directly oversees the activities of the site team, serves as the primary site interface with the Customer, and works with the Program or Project manager to track progress and resolve system deployment challenges.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

* With the Program or Project Manager, develops plans of execution to deploy OMR solutions.
* Organizes and executes installation of OMR systems according to developed plan.
* Develops and utilizes processes and operating procedures to ensure that work is executed in the most efficient and effective manner to deliver the best value for the company and the Customer.
* Develops processes and operating procedures to ensure that work is completed within scheduled project milestones.
* Supervises a team of engineers and technicians at a customer site; providing feedback to resource managers to improve Customer satisfaction and develop team capabilities.
* Ensures and enforces operational and safety standards of the installation team.
* Develops and maintain status reports to ensure the project team, project management, and Customer have a clear picture of project status.
* Represents OMR as the on-site lead and main point of contact for the Customer; coordinates installation activities with the Customer and escalates issues to internal project management as required.
* Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

* High School Graduate or Equivalent.
* Technical 2-yr degree or 4-yr degree in a technical field preferred.
* Five [5] years in a position leading a diverse team in an area of execution of technical projects.
* Two [2] years developing integrated detail level plans for the execution of production, manufacturing, and/or installation of technical projects.
* Experience interfacing directly with Customers in technical projects.
* Ability to travel within the continental US up to 50%, or residency in an area convenient to OMR customer site.

PREFFERED

* Ability to obtain a passport and necessary visas; ability to travel internationally.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
