Summary

The Government Affairs Internship will allow the successful candidate to greatly enhance their real-life professional experiences and utilize modern skillsets within the field(s) they are currently pursuing a degree. It is an outstanding opportunity to get hands-on experience analyzing policy (at the federal and state levels), conducting stakeholder engagement, and working with advocacy experts to craft compelling external narratives.

Responsibilities

* Review relevant company-wide data and activities across all business functions
* Develop external narratives and initiatives aligned with the team's goals
* Partner and learn from industry experts with a focus on hunger and nutrition among other topics.
* Help identify and enhance stakeholder relationships to support our causes
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements

* Enrolled in a bachelor's program in a related field
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Desire to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines
* Interest in the consumer-packaged goods or food and beverage industry
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
* Ability to be on-site in our Manhattan, NY office up to 4 days a week
