Heavy Equipment Mechanic

U.S. Pavement Services is currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our Team. The Ideal candidate wiill have a strong background in diagonsing and repairing heavy machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including tractors, trailers, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Execute brake repairs and vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
• Assemble and disassemble machinery components as needed for repairs or upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used for inventory management.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working on equipment in the shop or field

• Proven experience in heavy equipment repair or related
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems and their maintenance is preferred
• Experience with brake repair and general vehicle maintenance is essential
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Experience with pavers, skid steers, heavy and light duty trucks preferrd
