The HLS team builds on the horizontal capabilities of Azure's expansive cloud platform and with the distinct vertical capabilities of Nuance investments (like DAX) to create novel AI-powered solutions benefitting the HLS ecosystem. We synthesize advances from Microsoft Research with Microsoft's commercial offerings and collaborate closely with partners to implement, evaluate, and evolve our solutions. Our team nurtures opportunities that will shape and define our industry over the next several years. We are looking to hire a Principal Program Manager into our team. HLS S&P is interfacing with strategic customers and partners across different segments of the healthcare industry including Payors, Providers, Public Institutions, Pharma, Life Sciences, MedTech, Medical Imaging and Diagnostics. We are looking for a Principal Program Manager who can not only work with customers and partners, but also internal Microsoft teams including product teams to ideate on how to solve GenAI and ML-based complex industry use cases utilizing the horizontal and vertical strengths of the MSFT+Nuance platform. This includes segment needs across the entire Microsoft stack including infrastructure, data, GenAI and applications. The candidate will have relevant experience specific to the Provider and Life Sciences segments as well as familiarity with such specializations as multimodal data, genomics, medical imaging, claims data, clinical trials and others. ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of the SEPO Team, responsibilities of the Principal Program Manager will include: Be hands-on with customers and partners to ideate, possibly prototype AI solutions. Be customer-focusrf by acknowledging customer needs and perspectives, validating customer perspectives, focusing on broader customer organization/context, and serving as a trusted advisor.Communicate technical and strategic concepts in the AI and machine learning domain to a broad audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders/personas in the health and life sciences ecosystem. Specific to GenAI and ML, doing Industry and Research Knowledge / Opportunity Identification to track advances in HLS which includes working with research and product teams. Related to AI, Identify and articulate customer/partner needs, document requirements, establish priorities, refine strategy, and define product scope/feedback. Identify and collaborate with internal stakeholders and priority partners to support the hardening and adoption of Microsoft products, and how they can be utilized or advanced to solve for HLS industry use cases. Support data scientists, designers, engineers, user researchers and other SMEs who enable Engineering's research, technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and deployment of Microsoft solutions.
