About Lakewood Regional Support

Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Install troubleshoots and repairs heating, air conditioning, pump and building exhaust.
  • Troubleshoots malfunctioning heating, air conditioning to determine the cause of the malfunction.
  • Performs scheduled maintenance inspections, and adjust, cleans and calibrates various systems to assure proper system operations.
  • Repair wiring and electronic components associated with automated building management systems.
  • Replaces expansion valves, motors, coil units and other components parts.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs direct digital and pneumatic control systems.
  • Checks distribution system for proper velocity, volume, temperature, pressure, etc.
  • Balance air and water treatment systems.
  • Determine causes of and correct condensation problems.
  • Provide technical assistance with the design of HVAC systems including installation and modifications to existing systems.
  • Prepares records and reports describing procedures, action taken and recommended solutions.
  • Prepares and submits requests for supplies and equipment.
  • Responds to emergency service request.
  • Knowledge of pertinent rules and regulation, guidelines, safety orders, departmental operating procedures and safety regulations sufficient to insure that work is performed in compliance with applicable law.
  • Enforces sound safety and housekeeping practices.
  • Follows safety rules and procedures.
