Qualifications:



  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required
  • Five years previous experience required
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Healthcare experience preferred


Job Responsibilities:



  • Selects, trains/orientates, and assigns department staff for the General Ledger functions.
  • Develops standards of performance, evaluates performance, and initiates or makes recommendations for personnel actions.
  • Develops department goals and objectives; establishes and implements policies and procedures for department operations.
  • Responsible for the monthly financial statement preparation, including OMC, OMC Regional Foundation, BOT/Finance Committee, and OMC Retail Services.
  • Maintains overall integrity of the General Ledger.
  • Responsible for compiling third-party compliance reporting information.
  • Responsible for the non-wage expense and non-department revenue sections of the budget process.
  • Assists the controller with financial analysis projects.
  • Responsible for compiling the IRS OMC and OMC Regional Foundation 990 tax returns.
  • Member of various permanent and ad hoc committees as appointed.
  • Performs bank transfer of funds.
  • Works with external audit staff and prepares audit work-papers for the annual audit.
  • Performs system evaluations as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
