Position Summary

Are you an accomplished Electrical Engineer ready to take your expertise to the next level? As a Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer on our team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and shaping the future of our high-performance casino gaming products. In this impactful role, you'll lead the design and development of cutting-edge embedded systems and hardware, collaborating with a talented group of engineers and partners to bring new ideas from concept to reality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced electronic systems including components, assemblies, and sub-systems to support embedded system applications.

  • Lead architecture and design of high-performance motherboards around ARM and x86 processors, ensuring robust functionality and integration.

  • Conduct rigorous design validation and testing on both new and existing electronic products to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing and development partners to transition designs from prototype to production, ensuring adherence to project timelines and cost objectives.

  • Optimize and sustain existing hardware products, providing technical expertise to enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability.

  • Document technical specifications and design processes, supporting compliance and facilitating effective knowledge transfer to production and support teams.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Hardware Development and Embedded Systems, including full product lifecycle experience.

  • Strong expertise in circuit board design, including schematic capture and PCB layout using industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD).

  • In-depth knowledge of embedded systems development including microcontrollers (MCUs) and microprocessors (MPUs), voltage regulation, and power management.

  • Proficiency in communication protocols such as USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, RS-232, RS-485, JTAG, and PCIe, with a deep understanding of their application in system design.

  • Fundamental knowledge of Hardware Descriptive Languages (Verilog or VHDL) and familiarity with firmware development in environments from Bare Metal to RTOS.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of analyzing complex technical issues, implementing solutions, and improving design processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with firmware development and debugging, particularly for real-time embedded applications.

  • Background in technical project management for engineering development projects.

  • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative team environment.
