Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Operation Material Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing material requirements to ensure smooth production operations. You will collaborate closely with various departments to optimize inventory levels, streamline supply chain processes, and support our production goals. The work model for the role is: Onsite You will be mainly accountable for: * Analyze production schedules and forecasts to determine material requirements and ensure timely availability of materials. * Develop and maintain material planning processes, including inventory management, procurement, and supplier coordination. * Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to minimize excess and obsolescence while ensuring that production needs are met. * Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to facilitate timely material acquisition and delivery. Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in material planning, supply chain, or operations management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in material planning software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
