Our ideal candidate The Business Banker I maintains a professional image and working knowledge of all products and services while representing the credit union. The role communicates the benefits of products and services to current and prospective business members to develop and maintain long-term relationships. The Business Banker I enhances the growth and profitability of business loans, deposits, and ancillary services. The role provides input to the VP of Business Services on potential new products and/or trends in the industry, acts as a liaison between credit union departments, and operates within the credit union's prescribed credit authority and risk tolerance. The Business Banker I examines and evaluates preliminary credit requests and assesses credit quality, prepares formal credit requests, and authorizes or recommends approval of member applications for business loans. The Business Banker I maintains a thorough knowledge of and compliance with credit union policies and procedures and federal and state rules and regulations.
