OverviewThe OneDrive and SharePoint organization delivers powerful cloud-based solutions to an ever-growing number of users worldwide across both business and commercial user bases. As part of this team, you will work on innovative solutions to improve and extend functionality, reliability, performance, and scale for the OneDrive Sync Client, which powers File and Folder Sync, Sharing, and Office Document Coauthoring for millions of users who access cloud content on their Windows and Mac devices. You will work on a client that directly interfaces with the local file system, OS Shell, and OneDrive/SharePoint cloud to provide a first-class file sync experience that users trust to effectively and efficiently manage their most valuable personal and business data. OneDrive and SharePoint are rapidly-growing services that are at the center of Microsoft's cloud, reaching almost every part of the company, including Windows, Office and CoPilot. ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for bright, agile, and intellectually curious engineers who can work on the client-side file sync engine. This engine effectively scales to support the increasingly large number of files users produce while also engineering for service efficiency and scale as well as telemetry and remote debuggability. You will be working in an energetic team of engineers, product managers and designers on highly impactful code, with an eye to a data centric development process and a passion to use data and telemetry to make the product best-in-class for our customers. |
