EHR Operations Consultant

Overview

Job Profile Summary
Provides comprehensive expertise in consulting with and evaluating practices to ensure maximum
utilization of the practice management and electronic health record modules. Plans and provides
educational programs and consultative services to medical staff and clerical associate staff for all aspects
of electronic health records (EHR) systems (either operational or clinical portions) in APP physician
member offices, to support the business and clinical care needs of the organization. Ensures that APP
practices are competent in the use of APP electronic health records (EHR) systems, data entry, and order
entry. Serves as a liaison for physician related issues around system utilization, process improvement and
workflow re-design. Works with management and other team members in improving processes and
contributing ideas to put forth the best recommendations to APP leadership.

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or Bachelor's Degree in
Business, or Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or related field.

Experience Required: Typically requires 3 years of experience in EHR or clinical software
implementations.
