This individual will be a trusted advisor to senior finance and functional executives, and proactively collaborate, influence, and align the company's planning processes to achieve the overall company strategy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with annual planning as well as monthly / quarterly forecasting, consolidations, scenario planning, and variance analyses, for the income statement, cash flow statement and balance sheet.
  • Own and drive forecasting for topline metrics (Billings, Revenue, ARR, RPO / CRPO, NRR).
  • Produce financial, and key metric reporting for the Board of Directors, senior executives, and investor relations.
  • Partner with leadership / teams to coordinate and navigate the forecasting, strategic planning, and annual budgeting cadences to increase forecast accuracy, align cross-functional stakeholders, and enable informed decision-making.
  • Support investor relations, with a focus on standardizing productized data packages used by leadership when developing external / investor commentary and talking points.
  • Lead key metric variance analyses, including consolidation, associated research, comparable company analyses, data visualization / packaging, and relevant commentary.
  • Develop and build standardized methodology and reporting processes to assess forecast accuracy of both topline and bottom-line metrics, as well as key drivers / assumptions.
  • Drive ideation, prioritization, and implementation of process improvements across FP&A and broader Finance, in partnership with relevant cross-functional stakeholders where appropriate.
  • Translate detailed, unstructured information into clear, data-driven storylines and actionable insights and recommendations.

Required Education and Experience

  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 6-10 years of progressive FP&A experience in increasingly expansive roles, ideally within a high growth, public SaaS company environment.
  • Expert in building financial models from scratch, with strong knowledge of GAAP and common Non-GAAP metrics.
  • Ability to implement high quality process improvements that scale with the company's growth.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate takeaways and recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with little to no guidance at times.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience with financial systems and planning applications.
  • Experience designing and implementing new systems and tools.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A "roll-up your sleeves" mindset.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Intellectually curious with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to interchangeably tackle independent and team-oriented assignments.
  • Comfortable communicating with all levels of management, up to and including executive leadership.

Travel

  • Regular travel is not expected for this position; however, remote candidates will be expected to travel to company headquarters periodically.
