About the Job

The Talent Management Lead will design and implement a talent roadmap and performance management strategy to support organizational growth and culture initiatives. This role will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the Talent Management agenda across the employee lifecycle, including learning & development, performance management, employee engagement, new employee and leader onboarding, talent reviews, and succession planning. This position reports to the Sr. Director, HR Business Partners & Talent, and will be located in Charlotte, NC.

In This Role, You Will:




  • Partner closely with HR business partners and senior leadership to align talent management initiatives with business needs.
  • Manage the preparation and execution of the annual performance management process including Goal Setting, Check-In Conversations, and Year-End Review.
  • Lead the preparation and execution of the talent review and succession planning processes, ensuring readiness for key leadership roles.
  • Design and deliver skill building learning including in-person, virtual instructor lead, and self-paced e-modules.
  • Design and administer associate surveys for various engagement, change management, or other initiatives requiring quantitative feedback.
  • Create content for resources such as job aids, guides, and videos to support user adoption and change management of new processes and programs.
  • Build project plans and ensure that key deliverables are completed on time with excellence.
  • Identify high-potential employees and create targeted development plans to prepare them for future leadership roles.
  • Partner with outside vendors and contractors as needed to achieve talent-related goals.
  • Proactively drive reporting and measurements of the effectiveness of learning initiatives, including eliciting feedback, sharing insights with relevant stakeholders, and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to adult learning and behavior change.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, training and development, business or related field required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required.
  • In-depth understanding of talent management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices, as well as employee development, culture & engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Strong demonstrated critical thinking skills, with successful execution and implementation experience.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment; simultaneously build multiple programs and initiatives.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based meeting/conferencing tools.



Location

This is a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC.
