Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for aManager, Manufacturing for their Murfreesboro, TN facility.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure continuous and efficient customer service and production in compliance with established policies, procedures and quality standards.
  • Analyze and develop immediate and long-term programs for the improvement of production methods and processes
  • Work closely with all department personnel to assure effective preventive maintenance programs, machine care, training, and proper scheduling of equipment repairs for minimal disruption of working schedule
  • Supervise, initiate and communicate a variety of personnel actions including but not limited to training and development, salary recommendations, employment, termination, performance and salary
  • Lead site efforts to develop and improve operations through efficient and effective process improvements.
  • Oversee Supervisor's Continuous Improvement projects and update management on progress

You Must Have:

  • 2+ years diversified experience in the manufacturing at a management level
  • Direct management experience involving multiple functions and budgetary accountability
  • Thorough understanding of production processes and equipment
  • Planning/organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and develop employees
  • Results oriented

We Would Also Prefer:

  • B/S or Graduate degree - Business/Graphic Arts/Industrial Engineering
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • ISO 9001 Certification
  • Lean Management Principles
