Job Description

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to contribute to the development of robust and scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in software engineering principles, the ability to work collaboratively within a team, and a passion for developing high-quality code. This role provides the opportunity to work on impactful projects and grow your technical expertise in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in alignment with project requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, QA, and product managers, to ensure software meets business and technical needs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards.
• Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support software development and deployment.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Rust, C#, or C++.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to service architecture and RESTful API design.
• Embedded experience a plus
• Understanding of secure software development principles.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing time effectively across multiple tasks.
• Openness to feedback and a desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality software.

Security Clearance:

• Active or eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance is preferred but not required for this position.
