Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Manager, qualified physician or designee, the vascular sonographer will perform a variety of technical procedures that involves the application of high frequency ultrasound waves to patients for diagnostic purpose, will exercise a high degree of precision, skill and judgment, and will demonstrate sound knowledge of vascular anatomy, and physiology, Doppler physics/instrumentation, ultrasound physics and instrumentation. The sonographer is expected to have or pursue the appropriate certifications in vascular technology. Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Qualifications
