About Ameren Transmission Ameren Transmission is dedicated to planning, constructing and safely operating over 8,000 transmission miles across a variety of energy markets. We explore opportunities and develop projects that will enhance reliability, improve system performance and increase access to more diverse generation sources for customers across the country. About The Position: The Project Cost Analyst is responsible for the initial scoping of Transmission substation and line projects, development of estimated project cost, estimate updates, cost updates, cost analysis, and risk profile development through project scoping and planning lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Construction Management preferred. Two or more years of relevant experience in estimating, budgeting, forecasting, construction management, project scheduling, risk analysis/management or project management is required. A relevant advanced degree may be considered in lieu of up to 2 years of experience. Six total years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required. Effective oral and written communication skills, the ability to adapt to multiple requests, and the ability to work in a team environment are required. Experience with financial applications such as Oracle Projects, UIP, IMR, PCM, Primavera, and PowerPlan is preferred. Experience with OPPM, Unifier, Success Enterprise, InEight Estimate, Microsoft Excel (Intermediate) is preferred. Knowledge of transmission system and corresponding maintenance, operations and construction practices is preferred.
