We are seeking a Security Technical Program Manager to support operations and security governance within Sovereign clouds, ensuring compliance with Microsoft's top-tier security standards. You will be part of a driven team focused on developing high-impact security requirements to protect Microsoft Azure services against emerging threats. Ensuring that security controls effectively mitigate risks is essential, and we need a program manager to spearhead these initiatives in Microsoft's sovereign cloud environments. Your responsibilities include defining, tracking, and implementing a sovereign cloud framework in partnership with key stakeholders. Additionally, you will provide expertise in security by proposing and reviewing processes and compliance measures that address security risks. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of software engineering and operational processes, with an ability to evaluate the ROI of security solutions, ensuring they are relevant, measurable, and effective. ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and analyze security trends and risks for each environmentNotify and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure awarenessTracking and driving continuous improvement and prompt risk mitigation working with partner teams across our Azure servicesProvide continuous improvements to maintain world-class security practices in line with Microsoft's evolving security controlsAssist in defining the program outcomes, prioritizing the most effective security controls, monitoring progress, identifying and eliminating blockers, and implementing continuous security posture improvements.Surface insights to the team, leadership, and Microsoft senior leadership team as needed to update, influence, and improve security while reducing engineering friction.Embody our Culture and Values | |
