Planning & Fulfillment Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the development of the planning and fulfillment-related processes, skills, and tools. Each day, you will support performance improvement, including customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization. The work model for the role is Onsite * Develop and execute material plans for new product introductions, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones. * Collaborate with product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to forecast material needs and manage inventory levels. * Monitor inventory levels and lead times to mitigate risks of stockouts or delays in production. * Analyze and report on material usage trends, adjusting plans as necessary to improve efficiency and reduce waste. * Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate material status, risks, and opportunities. * Conduct supplier evaluations and manage relationships to ensure quality and reliability of materials. * Utilize ERP systems and tools to track materials and inventory metrics.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in material planning, supply chain management, or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing or NPI environment.
- Strong understanding of material requirements planning (MRP) and inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with new product introduction processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and supply chain optimization techniques.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
