Summary

As Advantage Solutions transforms the way we do business, we are looking to hire an IT Senior Manager, Data Product Management to drive our efforts across IT and the business - approach, design, and implementation, all in support of the DnA strategy for Advantage and for their clients. This role will help execute the workstreams needed to support the Data Product Management pillar including Client Services, Data Product Management, Demand Management, DnA Roadmap, Data Value Roadmap, Change Management and Partnership Management. This role requires a strong understanding of data solutioning and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the business through a keen understanding of organizational awareness.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge base in data management along with the ability to pair business needs with IT programs/technologies that can support the requirements of our internal organization and Advantage clients. This leader will educate and bring along a broader audience on the data roadmap journey. This will include engaging all levels of the business / IT to create partnerships and lead the discussions of solutioning data needs to create competitive insights for Advantage. This role will support the influencing of Business partners, IT partners and internal DnA pillars in leading inquiry-based capabilities that cross functional silos - bringing to life a business-needs-based data centric capability across the Enterprise.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities

* Support the execution a comprehensive cross functional data centric data roadmap including the ability to illustrate the value of each workstream to leadership
* Serve a point of accountability for the Data Product Management Pillar across all business functions of data - including internal and external 3rd party vendors
* Create and coordinate new vendor partnerships, supporting DNA, to enhance the offerings of the Advantage Solutions and maximize our data centric abilities
* Partner with and collaborate with external vendors or consultants as an extension of IT to ensure successful data systems implementation and integration with existing environment
* Partner with Product Managers, Data & Analytics Solution Architects, and the broader IT & D&A teams to drive scalable data solutions for Decision and Action by our business partners
* Ability to understand and support the execution of our DnA strategy and create a seamless partnership with all team members under CDO
* Strength in efficiently understanding user requirements, needs, objectives and working methods in order to design optimal data solutions that will deliver benefits in how the end user consumes products/data.
* Partner with peer leads to continuously manage team delivery to project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely and high-quality and high adoption data products
* Collaborate with business & IT leaders to identify product needs and possess the ability to illustrate the narriative around the "value-add" to the business
* Client service mindset - achieving high quality standards through self and team deliverables
* Partner with cross-functional teams within IT and across the business functions to identify critical analytics needs and bring back to the other DnA pillar leads to review and partner on potential solutions
* Design data quality solutions that support and deliver capability that is aligned to DnA strategy and goals
* Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and other legal requirements related to data management
* Stay current on emerging data management techniques, and technologies

Supervisory Responsibilities

Indirect Reports
- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Travel Requirements

- Travel up to 20 %

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

Education Level:
Bachelor's or relevant experience in Business Administration, Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field

Field of Study/Area of Experience:
- Proven experience (7+ years) in working in or with data as a common practice in a large & complex environment with knowledge of how to enable the use of data into a business insight / benefit
- 5+ years of experience in functional areas that support CPG and/or Retail
- Working experience with creating data solutions in the realm of Data Management or Data and Analytics.
- Strong knowledge of all required capabilities to execute a Data and Analytics strategy in an emerging space of maturity for an enterprise
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and deliver results.
- Excellent communication skills

* Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment - with a special focus on how data relates to the functional requirements.
* Build Strong working professional relationships.
* Strong written communication and verbal communication skills at Executive and team levels.
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within/ across teams.
* Skill in supervising and delegating responsibility, training and evaluating performance.

Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
