Summary

The Milk Processing Operator responsibilities are to weigh-in and collect milk tanker samples for testing temperature and for inhibitors. Operate receiving bay equipment to unload/load raw ingredient.

Responsibilities
  • CIP raw milk silos and receiving line circuits as required; perform manual cleaning as necessary.

  • Complete all related documentation including CIP charts PMO requirements and wash tag PMO requirements.

  • Check, fill, and monitor CIP chemical tanks and CIP systems as necessary.

  • CIP training necessary.

  • Daily sanitation.

  • Load/ Unload raw milk and cream milk tankers; complete documentation as required.

  • CIP all bulk tankers; perform manual cleaning as necessary.

  • Oat Base Batching.

  • Sample all incoming raw milk tankers for the purpose of performing quality testing as necessary.

  • Review and maintain records pertaining to requirements for an Appendix N Drug Residue screening site as required by the dairy industry.

  • Milk Separation.

  • Allergan CIPs.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 3 or more years of food/dairy production experience preferred.

  • Attention to detail: quality and cleanliness are essential competencies for this position.

  • Possess strong verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Must have computer and basic math skills.

  • Must be able to work and communicate effectively with team members and outside contractors.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
