About the Role:

Hunter Hamilton is partnering with the a leading manufacturer in their industry

Job Summary: The Accounting Analyst is responsible for month end and year end accounting adjustments. Will also support functions in accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, and payroll, as well as providing data/ad hoc reports. Essential Functions:

  • generate reports and information expeditiously and accurately in order to meet the needs of the management team


  • Working closely with manufacturing, participate in the development of accessible reporting tools such as ERP, especially regarding the Project Accounting Systems.


  • complete assigned tasks for month end and year end to complete periodic accounting reporting cycles. This includes Material Cost Transfers, Adjusting journal entries, and providing data reports as requested.


Education And Experience Required

  • 3 years cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment and working knowledge of database software
  • 2-3 years government accounting experience preferred, project accounting experience preferred
  • 4 year College degree in finance or accounting (Required)


  • GAAP knowledge and expertise
  • MS Excel and accounting software database experience
